Ray Bishop is the founder and driving force behind The Bishop Group. With over 30 years of experience in property insurance claims, Ray began his career in 1995 and went on to work with numerous leading independent adjusting firms before launching Bishop & Associates, LLC in 2006.
Throughout his career, Ray has handled a wide range of complex property claims—including large commercial losses, business interruption, liability, and personal property, and has been recognized as an expert witness in courts at the federal, state, and municipal levels.
He holds a BA in Business Administration from Southeastern Louisiana University and carries multiple professional designations including Certified General Adjuster (CGA), Registered Professional Adjuster (RPA), and Associates in Claims (AIC). Ray is licensed in multiple states, a certified insurance appraiser and umpire, and an active member of several industry associations.
A former U.S. Army servicemember and past president of the New Orleans Claims Association, Ray continues to lead The Bishop Group with integrity, experience, and a deep commitment to both client service and adjuster development.
A seasoned insurance professional and English scholar, Mitash brings over 20 years of experience to Bishop Group. His knowledge of the industry, combined with his analytical mindset and leadership, makes him a vital part of our team. Mitash plays a key role in managing complex claims processes and ensuring our high standards are met across the board.
Kate is an MBA graduate who brings a sharp strategic vision to Bishop Group. She leads our recruitment efforts for both adjusters and clients and oversees our marketing initiatives. Her dynamic approach to relationship-building and brand growth continues to push our companies forward.
Charlton B. Ogden serves as General Counsel for The Bishop Group, providing legal guidance and oversight for all business operations, contracts, and regulatory matters. With extensive experience in insurance law, litigation, and corporate compliance, Charlton plays a key role in protecting the company’s interests and supporting long-term growth. His strategic counsel ensures we operate with integrity and full adherence to industry standards.
With 14 years of service and dedication to Bishop Group, Molly is the engine behind our daily operations. She ensures that every process runs smoothly and efficiently, always going the extra mile to support our staff and clients. Molly’s reliability, work ethic, and institutional knowledge are invaluable assets to the organization.
